The two deadliest assassins in Edara haven't spoken since they ended their relationship five years ago.

Marcof holds the coveted number one spot in the kill rankings, yet as he begins to feel his age, he realises he can't stay on top forever. Armari, meanwhile, has spent years living in his shadow in second place, waiting for her chance to prove she is the superior assassin.

Things erupt when they are reunited, along with two other highly-ranked assassins, and given an extraordinary mission. If they succeed, one of them, and only one, will receive the prize all assassins crave: their freedom.
